FAQs

Our company name carries a double meaning behind it. In the world of events, being a "Jack of all trades" is essential, but true excellence comes from executing every detail with grace. When we founded this company nearly a decade ago, we were young moms determined not to choose between a fulfilling career and the life we wanted for our families. Work has always been at the forefront of our minds, and creating this business gave us the freedom to build both balance and joy for ourselves. At the time, we each had one child—Lauren’s son, Luca Jack, and Aoife’s daughter, Hadley Grace. The name came together naturally, reflecting both our roots and our commitment to our craft. And, of course, Jack and Grace is far easier to say than Aoife!

Jack & Grace represents not only our expertise but also the heart behind everything we do.

FAQs

Jack & Grace Events was created in the fall of 2015. Lauren and Aoife met, had an idea, and the rest is history! We celebrated 10 years of business this year. We are forever grateful for each other, our client,s and for always celebrating joyful occasions.

FAQs

Yes, we do, and we love to! We never limit our type of events, styles, destinations, or vendors. While we're based in New York and serve the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) more frequently, we also plan destination events throughout the U.S. and internationally. We love discovering new places and would be thrilled to help bring your celebration to life anywhere in the world.

FAQs

Yes, absolutely! From milestone birthdays to intimate dinner parties and showers, we love planning celebrations of all kinds. No event is too small; we believe every moment is worth celebrating.

FAQs

Full-service means we are with you from the very first conversation to the final breakdown of the event. We handle it all — creative direction, vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, timelines, logistics, and every last detail you shouldn’t have to worry about. It’s a true start-to-finish partnership designed so you can relax and fully enjoy the experience.

Partial Planning is ideal for couples who have already booked their key logistical vendors but need guidance in bringing their vision to life. This package is perfect if you know the look you’re going for but need help pulling it all together into a cohesive design. We’ll secure and manage your design-focused vendors such as florals, lighting, rentals, and day-of stationery, so every detail feels consistent, intentional, and beautifully connected throughout your wedding day.

FAQs

Yes, however, we offer something a little more elevated than the traditional ‘day-of.’ Our day-of coordination begins about 8 weeks out, so we can get fully up to speed, tie up any loose ends, and make sure every detail is in place. It also gives us time to build trust and get to know you, which makes all the difference when we step in to run the day exactly as you’ve envisioned it.

FAQs

Yes, for full-service and partial planning clients, we review contracts, manage communications, and serve as the liaison between you and your vendor team. For day-of wedding clients, we coordinate and serve as liaison, but we don’t review or negotiate contracts.

FAQs

The sooner the better — especially if you’re planning a wedding during peak season or at a destination. Most clients book 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak seasons or destination weddings. However, we do take on events with shorter timelines, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate if we have availability. Ready to start planning? Reach out at hello@jackandgraceny.com — we’d love to connect!

FAQs

Yes, without a doubt. We will be there with a full team from setup through final breakdown, making sure everything runs smoothly and nothing gets missed.

FAQs

We don’t set a strict number—it really depends on how each year unfolds. What we can promise is that we take on a limited number of weddings and social events to ensure every client receives our full attention. We never book more than one event per weekend, because for us it’s all about quality over quantity. As a boutique planning firm, we’re intentional about our workload so that each celebration feels thoughtfully planned and completely one-of-a-kind.
