A Galentine’s Day BrunchDesign & Dine

As wedding and event planners we love a good party!  Most days are spent planning parties for someone else, so on Galentine’s Day we decided to treat ourselves and of course use as an opportunity to plan another party!  This past year we have been fortunate enough to collaborate and build friendships with some pretty talented ladies!  We all decided to get together to celebrate each other while spending the day collaborating on something beautiful.  At the end of our shoot, Beth and Leslie Barnes of Saltaire Oyster Bar kindly treated us to a delicious three course lunch.  If you haven’t enjoyed a meal at Saltaire then we highly recommend it! What better way to spend a day than creating a beautiful tablescape and enjoying a glass of champagne with some of our favorite creatives?

We chose pink as our lead color to highlight Valentine’s Day in a feminine way and accented our fully saturated palette with touches of gold. Our goal was to create something bright, bold, and playful with a touch of sparkle thrown in.

A few highlights from the table included gold polka dot napkins, vintage candlestick holders, and custom bellyband placecards.  The bright pink Kate Spade table runner was a perfect compliment to the design Fani of Fani’s Flowers.  The centerpiece was created in a white porcelain pedestal vase with pale pink peonies, a variety of garden roses, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, and red berries.

Anamarie, of Crafted by Anamarie created custom invitations, a signature cocktail sign, bellybands that served as placecards and even hand lettered balloons and macarons!

In addition to our beautiful table setting we created a dessert bar with all the sweets a girl could dream of.  The hightop bar was set with tasty pink macarons, freshly glazed donuts and a beautiful pink ombre cake filled with raspberry cream.   Dessert?  Yes please! The delicious dessert bar was created by Kate of Kate & Co. Events.

What a fun-filled day doing what we love to do and celebrating with those who help bring our vision to reality.
