Indian SummerBridal Shower inspired styled shoot

As creatives and planners we are constantly drumming up new ideas, visions and event styles we would love to see to fruition.  We are connected to a wonderful group of creatives we meet with on weekly basis to dream up and pursue ‘all things pretty.”

When we have the chance we team up with a few of our industry favorites to create styled shoots based on a particular vision. This Fall we teamed up with the incredibly talented Megan Coppola of Coppola Creative to deliver an Indian Summer styled shoot. The backdrop and setting was the beautiful Rockefeller State Preserve located right across the street from Blue Hill at Stone Barns (one of our favorite wedding venues and restaurants).  It was the perfect backdrop to highlight the changing leaves, beautiful rolling hills and lush farm life.

The inspiration for the shoot was to capitalize on the beauty and feelings that a true Indian summer creates. Those few warm, yet mild last weeks of summer. Since it is only a short period in time and not always a guarantee; Indian summer has a way of making you feel extra grateful for the warmth and sunshine it provides. This shoot epitomizes Indian Summer with its bright and playful colors, saturated palette and overall good vibe.  indiansummer_bridalshower_jamielefkowitzphotography_2016_075

Maggie, the owner of Bella Bridesmaids Westport, fully understood our vision and provided flirty and feminine pieces that really accented Karolina’s natural beauty.

The arrangements created by Emma MacHugh of First Blush Weddings were picture perfect. The pineapple vases added a sweet, colorful and yet eye catching piece to the table.

“Throw love around like confetti”

Did you know there was a company that specializes in confetti? The Confetti Bar  is a online boutique confetti shop that creates custom and biodegradable confetti for all occasions.

Megan Coppola of Coppola Creative custom lettered the invitation suite, menus, placecards, gift tags and confetti bags.

Here are a few of our favorites from the shoot:

Delicious chocolate truffles were provided by Diane Holland of Blue Tulip Chocolates in Rye, NY.
